Amp'd inks content deal with Jack Black, "24" team

MVNO Amp'd Mobile has inked a deal with comedian Jack Black and one of the executive producers of the television show "24" to create two mobile video shows for their subscribers. Black and his partners will develop a comedy series, while "24" producer Howard Gordon and his TV production company Icebox will develop an investigative news series that examines mysterious sightings. The MVNO also extended its agreement with Donick Cary, the creator of "Lil Bush." Cary has two more mobile series in the pipeline for Amp'd: "Lil' Hollywood" and "Mexican Crazy Show."
