Amp'd inks three social networking deals

MVNO Amp'd Mobile has built out its social networking offerings by signing deals with Facebook, Freewebs and Livejournal. The MVNO already provides optimized access to MySpace, even though it has no direct deal with the social networking leader. Amp'd characterizes its approach as social network "agnostic," which is savvy because many young people are divided between MySpace, Facebook and sometimes smaller sites. Amp'd competitors like Helio have signed exclusive agreements with MySpace in the past.
