Nomura International analyst Richard Windsor is floating the possibility of Motorola exiting the handset business to focus on its enterprise and government businesses. Windsor also poured cold water on recent speculation that Chinese vendors could buy Motorola since those vendors don't know how to fix Motorola's problems. The analyst claims that Motorola's problems stem from platform and software issues more so than hardware.
