Another Motorola departure: Stu Reed

A mere month after newly installed CEO Greg Brown pushed him aside to take over the mobile division at Motorola himself, Stu Reed has left the troubled company. Reed's departure comes a few short days after chief marketing officer Ken Keller resigned his post. Reed's exit is just the latest executive turnover since CEO Ed Zander and CTO Padmasree Warrior left the company last December.

Reed took over the mobile devices unit last July, but the division lost $1.2 billion in sales last year. The unit's margins also slipped last year and the company is now in third place behind Nokia and Samsung in terms of marketshare worldwide.
