According to a New York Times report, which cited an unnamed sources familiar with the matter, Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) has been testing a way to charge the battery of its rumored smart watch wirelessly via magnetic induction. Some Nokia (NYSE:NOK) smartphones already use the technology. Apple has also experimented with other charging methods for the watch, though they are still experimental. Apple's watch is expected to sport a curved glass screen, and one idea that Apple is reportedly testing is to add a solar-charging layer to that screen. Article
