Best Buy begins selling refurbished iPhone 3G devices
Best Buy, the first major independent U.S. retailer to sell Apple's iPhone 3G, has begun selling refurbished versions of the phone at a $50 discount, continuing the trend that started a few weeks ago by AT&T.
The retailer is selling the 8GB version for $149 and the 16GB version for $249. The refurbished phones are ones that were returned during the 30-day trial period and may have minor scratches.

I don't have a comment. I have a quick question. What if I already have AT&T as my service but am not eligible for an upgrade yet?
Would I have to pay full price for an IPhone or can I get a refurbished one without any problems?
Truth be told you CAN indeed purchase a I phone from anywhere selling it and just install your sim into it and it WILL work. Depending on your to look out for you as a customer forget that. They have forgot what true customer service is all about long ago! Its all about money for them. A sim is a sim period. It WILL work. Picture voice mail is the only thing you will not have working. If you don't even have a data plan but, do not net surf your fine there also. They just will NOT tell customers this as, they sell the plans for $$$$ Carriers need to come clean and quit holding handsets hostage to the consumer. Telling them lies just to make a sale. The truth is out here, They just do not want people to find it.........
Just add a line to your family plan and you're eligible for new equipment on the new line. 9.99 more/month.
have a question say i already have a data plan like for my black berry not eligble for and upgrade yet is it more for the phone or will it still be the 150 for the phone
