Best Buy settled on Dallas as the place where it will open its first stand-alone Best Buy Mobile store, the first of 40 the big box retailer has planned for the fiscal year. The company has made the stand-alone retail stores a key part of its plan to boost its share of the U.S. mobile phone market. The stores will offer a wide selection of prepaid, unlocked and carrier-subsidized devices, in addition to other wireless products.
