Boo! Check out these wireless industry nightmares
As Halloween approaches, FierceWireless decided to ponder: What does strike fear into the hearts of wireless executives all over the land?
To answer that question, we've peeked into the subconscious of some of the wireless industry's most powerful people to see what goes bump in their night. See below for a smattering of the nightmares that plague Google's Andy Rubin, AT&T's Ralph de la Vega, Sprint's Dan Hesse and others.
To be clear: Some of these nightmares clearly stretch the bounds of reality, but all have some level of plausibility. They range from trivial worries to scenarios that could bring down an entire company. And all these scenarios offer a glimpse at some of the potential weaknesses of each executive's approach--whether it is marketing, technology or the way they handle the competition.
Read on to find out these executives' nightmares, taking note of the number of jack-o-lanterns--the more pumpkins, the closer the nightmare is to becoming a reality. Feel free to comment and leave your own wireless nightmares. --Phil
