Broadband use on mobile devices boosts FiberTower

FiberTower announced increased revenue and strong growth in T-1 lines for its 2007 fourth quarter and expects demand to be even greater this year thanks to the growing popularity of broadband use on mobile devices. The company reported a loss of $129.1 million for the fourth quarter, however, a greater loss than the $90.6 million loss it reported during the third quarter of last year. Service revenue at FiberTower climbed 14 percent to $8.3 million, up from $7.3 million during the quarter before it.
