BT's Bluephone surfaces with new name

Tools

The BT Fusion phone, originally named "Bluephone," will become "widely available'' in September, says the company. The Fusion uses Bluetooth technology to access the fixed network remotely. BT says Fusion can switch between fixed and mobile networks at home or in the office. To change to a fixed network, a high-speed Internet connection is required along with an access point, or hub.
