According to a report coming from China, TD-SCDMA, the country's homegrown standard, is finally ready for large-scale networks. As a result, analysts believe China will finally be ready early this year to issue 3G licenses with, of course, TD-SCDMA receiving favorable treatment and the lucky winner getting a head start in rolling out network coverage.
