Chutes and Ladders: Comverse names Dahan pres

Comverse has named Andre Dahan as its new president, CEO and director, effective April 30. Dahan previously served as the president and CEO of AT&T Wireless's Mobile Multimedia Services unit from July 2001 to December 2004. Comverse's previous CEO, Jacob Alexander fled to Namibia to avoid charges of stock-option backdating. Comverse's former senior general counsel William F. Sorin and former CFO David Kreinberg resigned in May during an investigation by a special committee of the board.
