Clearwire taps Google for Apps
In a deal that echoes a move by one-time WiMAX partner Sprint, Clearwire has tapped Google to provide the company's Apps suite to its subscribers. The suite includes Gmail, Google Calendar and Google Talk, but the deal also sees Clearwire leveraging Google's AdSense for Search on future portal applications.
"We look forward to expanding our working relationship with Google further enhancing our customer's access to the Internet--anytime and anywhere," said Clearwire CSO Scott Richardson.
