Comverse to acquire Netcentrex for $164M

Comverse, a provider of software and systems enabling network-based multimedia enhanced communication and billing services, has signed an agreement to acquire triple-play and fixed-mobile convergence solutions provider Netcentrex for roughly $164 million in cash. The final figure depends on some adjustments and a contingent earn-out of another $16 million by Netcentrex during the remainder of this year and next.
