That is one ugly phone. A truly global phone with acceptable rates in every country is a GREAT idea, but you can't expect a business man to carry around a phone that looks like it was made for the 3rd World!

Dusty, Fair point. Ever since the RAZR, even the enterprise demands stylish form factors, while "bricks" have become an image of the distant past. That said, the Cubic Mobile in its current form appears to be a phone for "squares" alone. -Brian

I agree, that is really ugly. Surely you just need a sim card that provides you the service of global calls. What handest you use should be irelevant

There's a SIM-card only package as well as the phone/SIM package. The advantage to the phone is that it routes the call through WiFi when available.

Business traveler would pay more for a global phone (or their companies will). I can see that Cubic is trying to take some cost out of the phone by making a brick with what it looks like yesterday's display and keypad, come on do so some consumer research ...
