FierceDeveloper published its fourth Developer Workshop, a series that explores the current state of the mobile marketplace from the point of view of software developers. The latest piece profiles Meet Live Now, a social networking application that offers a location-based nightlife guide for bars in New York and Los Angeles. The application combines traditional social networking features, such as status updates, location services and personal contacts, with a network of users who broadcast their nightlife whereabouts, complete with reviews on venues' crowds, menus and atmosphere.
