DT head won't consider sale of T-Mobile USA

Deutsche Telekom Chief Executive Rene Obermann said the company rejected views from its shareholders that it should sell its U.S. mobile unit, T-Mobile USA. Obermann, speaking at an telecommunications industry event, said he views the U.S. business as a key component to DT's long-term growth strategy. Not unlike investors in Vodafone, DT shareholders have been suggesting that the German company sell the U.S. mobile business to give a nice return to them.
