Ericsson: Revenue from China to rise 10%

Tools

Ericsson expects to generate at least 10 percent more revenue in China this year and next because of strong growth in mobile users in the country and investment by service operators. Ericsson's operations in greater China contributed about 7 percent of the company's total revenue of about $20.9 billion for the January-September period.

"As mobile traffic continues to grow in China, the mobile operators will continue to expand network capacity; this will also boost the revenue for equipment vendors," Ericsson Greater China President Mats Olsson said.
