EU regulators join Apple antitrust probe

Regulators with the European Commission have joined the Federal Trade Commission in an antitrust probe of Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), according to the New York Post. The investigation, which was launched this spring, is trying to determine whether Apple's iPhone Developer Program License Agreement threatens competition by forcing developers to focus on one platform to the exclusion of others. According to the report, the new development could extend the length of the investigation by another four to six months. Article
