FCC's Genachowski struggles to balance competing interests

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski came into office with broad goals, including expanding broadband Internet access and cementing net neutrality regulations. Now, more than a year into his tenure, he is facing substantial pushback from both opponents in the telecom and wireless industries who say he is going too far, as well as supporters from public interest groups who argue the chairman has not pushed hard enough.
