Frontline, Cyren Call squabble over 700 MHz plans

Frontline Wireless impugned Cyren Call's contention that first responders should team up with carriers if the FCC approves new 700 MHz rules for a national public-safety network, which consumers would share with public safety agencies. Frontline chairman Janice Obuchowski said Cyren's wholesale plan for the spectrum block "would thwart the last real opportunity to facilitate competition and innovation in a wireless industry that is rapidly consolidating and has already reached levels of unacceptable and dangerous concentration."
