Head of prominent cancer research institute issues cell-phone warning

Tools

The age-old debate over whether cell phones cause cancer has reared its ugly head again as Dr. Robert Herberman, director of the prominent University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, issued an unusual warning to some 3,000 faculty and staff, urging them to limit cell phone use because of the possible risk of cancer. The warning is contrary to several studies that have said no link exists between the two, but Herberman said he is raising the alarm because of early unpublished data, and it takes too long to obtain answers from science and believes people should act now, especially children.

"Really at the heart of my concern is that we shouldn't wait for a definitive study to come out, but err on the side of being safe rather than sorry later," Herberman told the AP. No other major academic cancer research institutions have issued such a warning.

Yes. Before my son was born in Berlin, the German doctor issued warning to my wife that "Do not use GSM phone anymore". The research shows somehow negative impact for the pre-born baby when using mobile phone too long time each day (over 1 hour a day).

We have been researching this issue in both my US lab and China lab. The results are most in favor of stopping long time use of mobile phone (not more than 1 hours a day, and not continuously using the mobile phone for more than 20 minutes).

I trust this report.

This story sounds oddly familiar. Remember when the tobacco industry was saying that tobacco usage did not cause cancer and paid for "studies" to prove it. Hmmmm...what is that about "history repeating itself?"

I GUARANTEE THAT CELL PHONES CAUSE CANCER - IT'S ONLY A MATTER OF TIME.....YOU'LL SEE....

While in my early teens I earned my first amateur radio license. My father who worked on radio
equipment fabrication and repair at the Lexington Army Depot was my coach and mentor on
radio stuff. He was an active Amateur radio buff and MARS member. He spent several hours per
day of his personal time handling radio messages from overseas military to various domestic
destinations. He was, as a result, exposed to almost continuous RF energy from early in the
morning until, typically, very late at night and sometimes until early the next morning.
He died of a glioblastoma in 1979.

I am not too concerned about light usage of cell phone equipment for the average person.
Those that use them for several hours per day are another matter. Heavy usage of PCS
phones is even more disconcerting -- this is essentially microwave. Check out the
Federal microwave oven leakage standard of twenty years ago. What happened to it?
Add to this the growing usage of WiFi and wireless LANS of all types and the exposure
profiles of some folks is extreme -- like my dads!

I noticed about 5 years ago that when I touched the ridges of my skull starting from that high ridge behind my ear and going all along the base of my skull to behind the other ear, that it was very tender to the touched, as if it were bruised. I purchased a cell phone protection device here: energyhealing.zeropointglobal.com/products/products.shtml. (scroll down to "ZeroPoint Earth Hearts). After about 3 months, that constant pain I had for years was 100% gone! I now have the Earth Hearts on all my cordless phones, my microwave, my blender, my hairdryer, etc. How can we believe that a microwave signal could go from a phone in the USA to a phone to China and not be strong enough to cause damage to your brain???? How can it go through walls but not our skull? I have heard that the cell phone companies now put a disclaimer in fine print that they are not liable for any health consequences of using the phone - has anyone seen this? If so, I would call that a clue!

We now know that electromagnetic signals are pre-cursors in all cell chemsitry.

To inject electromagnetic waves into the environment is therefore utterly stupid, as the effects will only reveal themselves AFTER it is too late.

And to do this FOR PROFIT is fundamentally wrong, immoral and as close to evil as we can get.
