How will Motorola woo carriers on Android?

It's no secret that Motorola has much riding on the success of its forthcoming Android phones. But how is Motorola co-CEO Sanjay Jha--the man in charge of turning around the company's struggling handset division--planning to convince wireless carriers to join in Motorola's Android push? According to a BusinessWeek report, Jha has made concessions such as allowing Verizon to place its brand in most of the software used in Moto's phones, and to keep as much as 30 percent of the revenue Motorola hopes to make from application downloads.
