How do AT&T, CenturyLink, Frontier, Google and others stack up on broadband Internet pricing?

Wireless carriers have been competing more steadily on price during the past year. But price remains a key component in the wireline broadband market as well, and that market is definitely in a state of flux. Google Fiber (NASDAQ: GOOG) is seeking to shake up the broadband industry with its 1 Gbps fiber-to-the-premises offering, while major players like AT&T (NYSE: T) and Verizon (NYSE: VZ) are selling off their wireline assets.

In a new special report, FierceTelecom looks at the cheapest and most expensive prices for broadband service across the country. To be clear, this is a ranking of telco providers, not wireless carriers or cable operators, and the technologies covered include fiber and DSL. The report breaks down speeds and pricing in three groups: 1-50 Mbps; 75-500 Mbps and 1 Gbps. To see how the nation's wireline broadband providers stack up by price, check out the special report
