How much data do you consume?

Maravedis' Cintia GarzaFollowing AT&T Mobility's (NYSE:T) move to meter users' data, consumers now must keep track of their bits and bytes. But exactly how much data does a typical wireless user need? Research firm Maravedis took a look at what the firm said are average usage numbers for smartphone and laptop users, and found the figures stretch from around several hundred megabytes to more than a few gigabytes. The upshot? Maravedis' Cintia Garza found that laptop users use on average four times more data than smartphone users, and consume between 1 and 2 GB per month. Report
