HTC inks distro deal with Brightpoint
Self-effacing handset maker HTC has inked a distribution deal with Brightpoint in an effort to establish itself as a globally recognizable brand. Until recently, HTC allowed carriers to re-brand its handsets as their own: like the Cingular 8525 last year. Brightpoint chairman and CEO Bob Laikin said his company was a pioneer in developing HTC's sales channels worldwide and the new agreement will augment that relationship.

The Blackjack is a Samsung handset. I think you meant the Cingular 8525.
