Keeping track of news at The Cable Show 2014

To say that activity in the cable industry is busy these days would be more than an understatement. Comcast (NASDAQ: CMCSA) is trying to acquire Time Warner Cable (NYSE: TWC) for $45.2 billion, and has just proposed divesting subscribers to Charter Communications (NASDAQ: CHTR).

The cable industry's eyes now turn to Los Angeles, which will host The Cable Show 2014, the National Cable & Telecommunications Association's annual trade show, at the Los Angeles Convention Center from April 29-May 1. FierceCable will be on hand covering the events, keynotes and panels as they happen.
