Merrill Lynch upgrades RIM's growth thanks to Pearl

Analysts can't seem to say enough about the success of Research in Motion's Pearl. Merrill Lynch is the latest to give accolades. It upgraded RIM's forecasts based on the launch of the new Pearl handsets. Their analysts checked 20 T-Mobile stores in the US to find out that the new phone is selling strong following its Sept. 12 introduction. The strong sales came without any major media campaign from RIM and some stores sold out in the first week. (I ordered mine online last week and it came two days later).
