Meru Networks snags $12M third round

Wireless VoIP firm Meru Networks today secured $12 million in third round funding. The round was led by BlueStream Ventures, Clearstone Venture Partners, and NeoCarta Ventures. Meru provides enterprises with a cellular wireless LAN system designed to improve the quality of wireless VoIP and other wireless data services. The company has partnerships with Oki Electric, Hitachi High-Technologies, and Fujitsu I-Networks. Meru has raised a total of $42.7 million to date.
