Metric: CDMA claims 257M subscribers

According to the CDMA Development Group, there are now roughly 257 million CDMA subscribers. 168.4 million CDMA subscribers use some form of 3G, either CDMA2000 1xrtt or 1xEV-DO. Asia is the largest CDMA market with 109.5 million subscribers, followed by North America with 97.3 million subscribers. Latin America is the fastest-growing region for CDMA, growing 38 percent to 45.7 million users in the last year.
