A new study from Research and Markets ranked the Middle East and Africa as the fastest growing wireless markets. Growth in the Middle East is particularly hot, with vendors and other wireless companies eyeing key markets, including Iraq. Iraq alone experienced a 1,757 percent growth in subscriber bases in 2004 with 1.2 million wireless subscribers.
