How is Motorola going to differentiate itself with Android, LiMo, and Windows Mobile? Just about every major device manufacturer are using the these open OS too.

Motorola is about to become the Dell of the mobile phone industry, focusing entirely on hardware, and leaving that nasty software stuff to other people.

So their differentiation will be purely on design and delivery. Now can the monster develop enough cost effectiveness to deliver phones through different channels?

Design? Sanjay said no more shiny stuff. Snajay is not Steve Jobs or Geoff Frost. Delivery? Motorola's track record in delivery is...? And they don't have the production and distribution effeciency of Nokia. Maybe they should slap their brand on outsourced OEM and ODM devices, like Palm.
