New FCC comish: "The lightest regulatory touch"

The recently appointed FCC Commissioner Robert McDowell says the wireless industry requires "the lightest regulatory touch possible," but he does think commissioners needs to move quicker on 800 MHz rebanding, early termination fees and universal service reform. President Bush named McDowell as a commission on June 1st. McDowell says he has wireless service contracts through the FCC with Verizon Wireless, Nextel and Iridium.
