New MVNO offers unlimited voice and data for $70 per month

Tools

MVNO Zer01 Mobile will launch April 1 and the company says it will offer unlimited voice and data for smartphones for $69.95 per month.

The company, which is using AT&T Mobility's network via a roaming agreement, will send all of its calls through a proprietary VoIP application that supports phones running on Google's Android, Research In Motion's BlackBerry, Java and Symbian platforms, and can even support unlocked iPhones, according to CEO Ben Piilani.

The plans are month-to-month and do not require contracts or credit checks. The carrier will work with unlocked phones and also plans to sell three HTC-made phones, the Tilt, the Touch Diamond and the Touch 3G.

Who wants to guess how long before this company goes out of business? Why don't people realize that MVNO's don't work?

Good luck, dealers who care about there customers wont sell it!

A lot of stories are falsely reporting that Zer01 is a new MVNO which is apparently innaccurate.
