Nokia CTO steps down; company looks to sell unit

Nokia's Chief Technology Officer Bob Iannucci announced he would be stepping down from the company for undisclosed personal reasons. The company also said it was looking to sell off its computer-security hardware business and focus more on consumers.

Iannucci had been at Nokia since 2004, and will remain as a consultant for the company until a new CTO is found. The move comes as the world's largest cell phone maker announced it was in advanced talks to sell its security hardware business and will stop making software for enterprise solutions, so that it could focus more on consumers and devices. 

Though still the dominant player in terms of market share, Nokia has seen companies like Research In Motion, HTC and Apple cut it into its consumer market base.
