Nokia faces $17.7B patent suit

Patent holding firm IP-Com has filed a $17.7 billion lawsuit against Nokia for alleged patent infringement. IP-Com is just under 50 percent owned by private equity firm Fortress Investment Group. Nokia said the patents in the suit are invalid and have not been infringed. IP-Com reportedly acquired the patents from Germany-based Bosch last year.
