Nokia promises many new phones for U.S.

Nokia's chief designer, Alastair Curtis announced that Nokia would be offering a lot of new phones in the U.S. very soon: "In the next few months operators will carry a lot of new products from us." The announcement follows months of building anticipation for a launch of a big batch of Nokia phones in the U.S. While the handset maker dominates the global handset market with a 39 percent market share, it only has 10 percent penetration in the U.S. Curtis said U.S. consumers should expect CDMA handsets and adaptations of international models.
