Nokia-Qualcomm case stayed

The judge presiding over the Nokia-Qualcomm patent infringement case has ordered a stay of the trial until further notice. Qualcomm initiated the case against Nokia because it claims Nokia's mobile phone products infringed on six of Qualcomm's patents. Since the case went to court, Qualcomm has rescinded three of the patent claims. The news follows a recent mini-truce between Qualcomm and Broadcom over two patent infringement cases. Those companies have other jury trials, scheduled, however.
