Nokia Siemens launches with measured outlook

Nokia Siemens launched on April Fool's day with a warning that growth in the sector is going to be "very slight" this year, a small shift from Nokia's previous outlook of "slight growth" for the company in 2007. Some analysts believe very slight growth means only 1 percent to 2 percent growth. Nokia Siemens followed other high profile tie-ups like Alcatel-Lucent and Ericsson's Marconi acquisition.
