Tools

RCR is running a comprehensive summary of Nortel's WiMAX deals and progress to date: Nortel recently landed a deal with Chungwha Telecom in Taiwan for a countrywide WiMAX network. Nortel will also be working closely with Japan's Toshiba to support Japan's National Broadband Connectivity by 2010 program. The trial in Japan makes use of Nortel's basestations, terminals and engineering services. Trials in Germany, Canada, Greece, Russia and Mexico also make use of Nortel's WiMAX portfolio. Throughout 2007, Nortel expects to win contracts in South America, Eastern Europe and Asia.
