Obopay makes mobile payments kid-friendly

Obopay has launched a new "Sponsored Accounts" feature that will enable kids under 18 years of age to easily use its mobile payments application. The feature allows parents to provide their child with an Obopay account linked to his or her mobile phone, which the parents can track and control as they see fit. The new feature also kicks off a refer-a-friend initiative that gives account holders $5 for each successful referral.
