Palm, Sprint offer few new details on Pre

Palm and Sprint Nextel offered up a few morsels of information Thursday in a webinar meant to generate hype for the launch of the Palm Pre, which is expected sometime in the first half of the year. Neither Palm nor Sprint provided any details about pricing or a launch date for the smartphone, which the two companies are pinning their hopes on, but they did say that there would be an over-the-air application store for the phone.
