Palm's holiday offerings: a blue-green Treo 755p

Verizon Wireless and Palm are dressing up the Treo 755p smartphone in deep blue-green (photo). The move is yet another attempt by Palm to play up their devices this holiday season. Palm recently began selling the Treo 750 unlocked, direct-to-consumer and with a Windows Mobile upgrade. Verizon had already announced its holiday line-up, which included the 755p, but not in blue-green. Palm also confirmed that it has laid off an unspecified number of employees leading into the holiday season.

Verizon Wireless subscribers can buy the blue-green version of the Treo 755p online by calling 1-800-2 JOIN IN. The device will hit store shelves com January 7, 2008.
