Vendors from across the spectrum vie for attention and hype via their latest shiny gadgets. Among the more notable handset releases this year are Motorola's (NYSE:MOT) Droid Pro, the LG Optimus Android phone for both Sprint Nextel (NYSE:S) and T-Mobile USA, the LTE-capable Adrenaline USB stick for AT&T Mobility (NYSE:T) by LG, the Samsung Mesmerize for U.S. Cellular and the Huawei Ascend for Leap Wireless' (NASDAQ:LEAP) Cricket service.
