Qualcomm, BSkyB to test MediaFLO

Qualcomm has been working hard to get MediaFLO into Europe. It at least has a foot in the door of U.K. pay-TV provider BSkyB, which has agreed to a technical trial of MediaFLO. The trial will feature 10 channels of BSkyB content on a small number of non commercial devices provided by Qualcomm. This appears to be one of many trials BSkyB will conduct to explore its mobile TV options in the U.K.
