Qualcomm paid lobbyist $200K

Qualcomm paid Lent Scrivner & Roth $200,000 last year to lobby various federal agencies and government bodies. The firm lobbied the government on patent reform legislation, Broadcom's patent case against Qualcomm and telecommunication reform issues. Qualcomm paid the firm $100,000 during each half of 2007. Pete Leon, former legislative director for Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY) and Richard Molen, a legislative director for former Sen. Conrad Burns (R-MT) were two of the lobbyists that worked on behalf of Qualcomm.
