Tablets running the latest version of Google's (NASDAQ:GOOG) Android platform, dubbed "Honeycomb," likely will be hot items at this week's Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. All Honeycomb tablets, however, will require dual-core, Cortex-A9 processors from ARM Holdings, according to a PC Magazine report. The report, which sourced the device requirements to Bobby Cha, managing director of Korean consumer electronics firm Enspert, also said that a 1,280x720 screen resolution may be necessary. Currently, only Nvidia's Tegra 2 processor would meet the requirements, though other chipset manufacturers are going to move in the A9 direction. Google declined to comment. Article
