Report: AT&T delays 3G BlackBerry

According to a report in Fortune, AT&T is delaying the launch of its first 3G BlackBerry handset until August following concerns stemming from a technical glitch that affected the handset's call quality. The BlackBerry 8900 was originally scheduled to launch in June, according to the report, which speculated that the delay could also have been affected by the much anticipated launch of a 3G iPhone in June. Research In Motion already has a 3G BlackBerry Global Edition running on Verizon Wireless' network.
