According to a report from Wireless Intelligence (WI), net additions on CDMA technologies worldwide hit 15.7 million for Q2 2006, which is close to the all-time high of just over 16 million. The report considered cdmaOne, CDMA2000 and 1X EV-DO. According to WI, growth rates for CDMA technologies have been slowing over the past two years, but they are stabilizing this year, not falling steeply as some industry pundits have suggested.
