Tools

Nokia is embracing touchscreens for some of its upcoming devices, according to a report in TheStreet.com. The world's largest handset maker is reportedly building a 4.2-inch touchscreen MID with a "hidden slide-out keyboard," as well as a slim touchscreen device that will have a sensor to detect whether to extend or withdraw its slide-out keyboard. The company is also looking to take advantage of a vibration technology from Immersion to make touchscreens more lifelike. Nokia currently offers the 5800 touchscreen music phone. Article
